With WinDo Pass, you can offer your customers a modern, digital service for windows and doors – transparent, simple, and future-proof. The system makes it easy to link product data to a QR code or NFC chip directly on the building component. This allows you to lay the foundation for a digital product passport in accordance with EU requirements while also strengthening customer loyalty and service quality.
WinDo Pass is designed in such a way that it can be gradually expanded into a complete product passport. In a first step, for example, you can link information about your company, the window profile, and window recycling. Later, in a second step, you can connect your window construction software so that element data is automatically transferred. The third step is then the expansion to a digital product passport in accordance with EU requirements.

The solution in detail
WinDo Pass is a powerful system for the digital documentation of window and door elements. During production, an NFC chip is attached to the window sash or a QR code is affixed to the frame rebate, allowing all relevant information to be accessed online. The data can be entered manually or automatically transferred from the window construction software.
Exemplary content:
- Element data such as type, dimensions, profile system, glazing
- Technical documents (CE marking, installation instructions, QNG declarations)
- Marketing materials for end customers
- Maintenance and repair history
Access is via a website, whereby the scope of data and information can be adapted to suit different user groups: from internal employees and planning offices to end customers.
Ready for the future:
It is the declared political will to make the economy in the European Union as sustainable as possible. The EU Ecodesign Regulation, which came into force in July 2024, is intended to accelerate this development. In particular, it stipulates the introduction of a digital product passport for virtually all physical products. For windows and doors, the Construction Products Regulation , published at the beginning of 2025, adopts this requirement for a digital product passport.
WinDo Pass already meets the requirements for sustainability, resource conservation and transparency, and can also be flexibly adapted to new legal requirements in the future.
