DBS in German press

Several German industry magazines have already published articles about the DBS and its digital solutions for window construction. In this press section you will find the latest articles from relevant industry magazines. You can read the German articles as web links or PDF files.

Since the exchange with partners and industry representatives is very important to us, you also find information about past and future events.

Trade fairs & events

The personal and direct exchange with our partners is very important to us. Therefore, we like to visit industry events regularly.

In February 2020, we exhibited at the first edition of Digital Bau in Cologne. In 2021, we then supported the annual congress of the German association VFF (Verband Fenster + Fassade) as a sponsor. By now DBS is also represented on international markets: for example, in September 2021 at the Equipbaie trade fair in France.

For 2022, the participation at FENSTERBAU FRONTALE was actually on the agenda for us. As the world’s leading trade fair for windows, doors and facades, this event is an absolute industry highlight. However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we did not exhibit with our system providers at the show in July as planned. The health and safety of all employees, customers and partners is our top priority.

In June, our Managing Director Karl Dietrich Wellsow held a presentation on digitalization in window construction at the Vienna Window Congress. We enjoyed the exchange during this international hybrid event.

For 2024 the participation in FENSTERBAU FRONTALE is now on the agenda. We are looking forward to being part of the next edition in March.

Networking & cooperations

Visiting the WWU Münster

Today, networking is one of the most important success factors in business. This means the personal exchange with customers, start-ups, associations and universities is very important to us.

As a medium-sized company from the Münsterland, we are closely connected to this region. For this reason, Dr Matthias Koch, Managing Director of DBS, was invited to visit the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster at the end of June 2022.

As part of a practical event of the MBA programme (Master of Business Administration), he was allowed to present the digital transformation of DBS. The participants of the event were given exclusive insights into the history of the development of DBS as well as current challenges for digital companies.
