The DBS team is growing

Mr Jan Ackermann has been supporting the DBS WinDo Ordering team since January 2022. The computer scientist already has 18 years of experience in the window construction industry. Among other projects, he has developed the online shop for our system provider GEALAN in the area of IT application development during the last years.

His new tasks at DBS now include both the further development of our existing ordering solution as well as the conception and development of new functions. As a product architect/product developer, Mr. Ackermann is an expert in all product related questions and knows the functional application as well as its technical implementation. In addition, Mr. Ackermann will be in contact with our international companies and customers. His focus will be on the introduction of the SAP online shop in all European GEALAN companies. "I am pleased that with Mr. Ackermann we have been able to add a qualified and experienced member to our team. Thanks to his support, we will be able to translate customer requirements into development orders even more quickly in the future. In doing so, we can optimize our digital ordering options continuously," says Christian Täubel, Product Manager DBS WinDo Ordering.

In addition to Mr Ackermann, we also welcome Mr Florian Schneider at DBS. Mr Schneider has been supporting the consulting team of DBS WinDo Experts since February 2022. "We have known and appreciated each other for a long time. Now it has finally fit and we are happy about our growing team“, says Thomas Stermann, Product Manager DBS WinDo Experts Consulting.

Mr Schneider's new tasks include the customizing of the window construction software KLAES for our customers. Due to his several years of experience at KLAES, Mr Schneider has a lot of experience in window construction and also in direct customer contact. After his graduation, Mr Schneider completed his apprenticeship as an IT systems clerk at KLAES. In his subsequent employment, he got to know the window construction software even better and was already able to implement his first customer projects with VEKA processors. As a result, Mr Schneider has a certain level of familiarity with our customers. Thanks to his studies in business administration, Mr Schneider has both a technical and a commercial view of our customers' core processes. Because only based on ideally structured core processes, processors can act safely, quickly and efficiently on the market.
