WinDo Pass in everyday club life

Digital processes for soccer goals and sports equipment

What happens when you approach an everyday sports club problem from a digital perspective? Together with the German soccer club SG Sendenhorst and our system provider VEKA, we addressed exactly this question in a real-world project.

It all started with a challenge that many sports clubs are familiar with: Damages to soccer goals need to be identified, reported and addressed. This is often done through verbal requests, phone calls or messages. That takes time and makes it difficult to keep track of open cases. With our solution WinDo Pass, we’ve shown how this process can be mapped out digitally in a simple and transparent way.

Identifying soccer goals using QR codes

Each soccer goal has been assigned a unique QR code, making it clearly identifiable. If damage is detected, it can be recorded and reported directly on-site using a smartphone. All relevant information is assigned to the respective property. At the same time, the responsible individuals are listed in the system. This makes it possible to track at any time who is handling the case and what the current status of the case is. This reduces the need for coordination, shortens communication channels and ensures complete documentation.

A concept with potential beyond window manufacturing

The project clearly demonstrates that the WinDo Pass can be used far beyond its original scope of application. The system provides practical support in any situation where inventory needs to be accurately tracked, conditions need to be documented and processes require transparency.

The benefits at a glance:

  • Faster claims reporting and shorter response times
  • Clear responsibilities and transparent processes
  • Digital recording and documentation of inventory
  • Easy to use on-site via QR code

The concept can also be applied to many other areas. Possible examples include volleyball posts, handball goals or other sports and club equipment.

The case study featuring SG Sendenhorst demonstrates how digital solutions can create real added value even outside their original area of application. Often, a simple idea is all it takes to make processes more transparent and noticeably simplify daily life for everyone involved.
